Green for go at Arthurlie
Albion Rovers former Queen’s Park and Airdrie United defender Kevin Green has joined junior side Arthurlie on loan to get some game time under his belt.
The 20 year old joined the Coatbridge side last November and featured in 15 games however he has slipped out of the starting eleven after the arrival of Mick Dunlop in the summer.
Cliftonhill boss James Ward said: “Kevin needs games to keep him match fit and he will get that at a good standard at Arthurlie.”
Thistle youngster joins Lanark
Midfielder Malcolm McLean who was released by Partick Thistle at the end of last season has gone junior and signed for Lanark United.
The 19 year old had spent 2 years at Firhill working as a full time professional however he never made a first team breakthrough.
