Whitletts Vics Host Open Night
Ayr junior club, Whitletts Victoria, are hosting a ‘Meet the Players’ Open Night this Saturday evening at Pro-Soccer, Glenmuir Place , Ayr.
The evening is free to all and doors open at 7pm with the event starting at 7.30pm. There will be music, karaoke and a fun quiz, just some of the events that are taking place on the night in a relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity to meet the management and players of the Club .
Whitletts Victoria CEO Colin McTrusty said that the evening was designed to bring supporters, both new and existing, closer to the Club and to build on recent initiatives undertaken by the Club to attract new supporters.
“In recent weeks we’ve had a few new initiatives, such as our free entry voucher to our home Ardagh Cup ties plus our commitment to give all children under 16 FREE entry to league matches throughout the season and both have brought along a number of new faces to games.”
“Unlike a lot of junior clubs, we don’t have a social club so we hope this Open Night will give those potential new supporters, as well as our existing supporters, the opportunity to come together with the players and officials of the club in a social atmosphere and make them feel closer to the club.”
“Whitletts Victoria is run by its’ members. Ultimately they are the ones who have the control to run the Club and by hosting events like this, we hope to bring everyone closer to the club so that together we can all help the Club move forward.”
