Shipyard appoint new manager
Myles Allan has left his position as assistant manager of Rosyth to take over as manager of Burntisland Shipyard.
Adam returns
Ardrossan Winton Rovers have re-signed striker Scott Adam from Kirkintilloch Rob Roy
Innes makes impressive start
Albion Rovers have loaned out their former Motherwell midfielder Peter Innes to junior side Cambuslang Rangers for a month after the 21 year old dropped out of the starting line-up at Coatbridge
Innes, who has also played Alloa, had not begun a game in two months and manager Todd Lumsden wanted him to keep himself ticking over for the run-in as he explained: “It is important that Peter is getting games and as we do not have a reserve side a loan spell was a good solution.”
Innes started his temporary period well bagging a hat-trick in Cambuslang’s 7-0 success over Royal Albert in his first game last weekend.
Hamilton is in demand
Former Dumbarton, Stirling Albion, Queen’s Park and Albion Rovers winger Chris Hamilton has sparked a transfer tug of war in the Junior ranks.
The 24 year old has recently been made available for transfer by Bo’ness and West Region Superleague sides Pollok and Cumnock are now involved in a chase for Hamilton with Newtown Park boss Allan McGonigal saying: “We have had initial contact from both clubs and I am expecting bids soon.”
