Staunton joins Irvine Meadow
One time Celtic defender Mark Staunton, who commanded a £110,000 transfer fee when he joined Charlton Athletic, has joined Irvine Meadow from Second Division Stranraer.

Staunton never featured for the Bairns first team, however he gained experience during a loan spell at Berwick Rangers before joining East Fife on a permanent basis in 2009.
After a year at New Bayview, Staunton turned Junior and played for Beith before making the step back to the SFL last season with the Blues and he featured in over 30 games.
