McGinty is top man at Pollok

Brian McGinty was elected as Pollok's 2012-13 player of the year at the club’s AGM on Monday night.
A majority of the club’s members voted for McGinty, who has impressed them, with his leadership, commanding displays in the middle of the park; as well as a handful of stunning goals.
Second place in the poll was taken by forward Carlo Monti, whose goals over the last 12 months have been nothing short of vital to the club. Full-back Ross Dunlop took third place, for his consistent and composed performances in defence.
McGinty will be presented with his award at the annual Player of the Year celebration, which will take place in the Pollok Social Club on the evening of Friday, 7th June.
This event is open to all supporters and tickets will cost £5 and be available from committee soon.
