Whitletts Vics - Changes
SEAN SIGNS
Whitletts Victoria have completed the signing of 17 year old Sean Ewart who goes straight into the squad for tonight’s match against Annbank United.
The Prestwick youngster, has impressed in a series of pre-season matches to date and the Whitletts management team clearly believe that he has a big future ahead of him.
Assistant Manager Jonny Baillie said “What Sean has shown us pre-season is not just an undoubted talent to play football but also a maturity beyond his years. Don’t underestimated the gulf between playing youth football and junior football, yet Sean has not only adapted very well but has shown an uncanny confidence in his ability to take players on and bring more experienced players into play. He certainly has not hidden when he has played. Make no mistake he still has a lot to learn about the game but clearly he has a good attitude and if he continues to learn and develop his game he has a very bright future ahead of him”
JORDAN REJOINS BANKIES
Whitletts Victoria have agreed a deal with Annbank United that will see keeper Jordan Callaghan rejoin the club where he started his Junior career.
Callaghan was a regular in the Vics side last season but has opted for a move to New Pebble Park following Whitletts signing of Ally McInnes from Lugar.
Whitletts Victoria thank Jordan for his service to the club and wish him every succeess with his new side.
