Looking for a New Club
Former Dumbarton, Albion Rovers and Annan striker Pat Walker is hoping to find a new club ahead of the school term ending so he can enjoy his holidays.
The 29-year-old geography teacher was one of nine players released by the Coatbridge side last week despite proving his fitness after an ankle injury.
Walker said: “I started the season really well, with two goals in two games, but then I suffered an ankle injury. I got back to full fitness and played in a few games before the end of the season, including the Scottish Cup replay with Rangers, but my time at Rovers is at an end.
“I am keen to keep my senior career going and would love to get something sorted before the school holidays begin.”
